IMPORTANT NOTE: RunRaceTrace is NOT designed for event organizers to time races. It is designed for a coach or parent to time their own athlete(s) lap or mile splits in XC or track races. For those looking for a race tming app, there are many alternatives out there and for any real event, a professional timer is always the best choice!
1) Open the App
2) Enjoy your 7-day free trial. No credit card required. Access to all features.
3) Test with pre-loaded team roster of track legends.
Before starting a race, remove athletes not competing in that event by:
Filter by gender
Filter by "team" (could be Varsity / JV or perhaps middle distance / long distance... your call)
Click on a name on the timer screen to remove before you click Start
Start a race by clicking Start
Time an athlete's lap by clicking on their name
Adjust your team order (putting fastest 1st) in your team roster by dragging up or down to have athletes in their likely order as they reach the split point.)
Start your splits
Practice before going live with a real race so you understand the app and how it works.
4) When ready, delete the pre-loaded roster and practice results (Settings Screeen has a "Delete Data" button) and load your own

Or load a csv file with your roster.
